Medical Staff

Sunil Kalra, MD

Dr. Sunil Kalra was born and raised in Delhi, India. He received graduate and post graduate medical degrees in Medicine at the Maulana Azad Medical College and a diploma in ENT from the University of Delhi. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at the Lady Hardinge Medical College in New Delhi and a second full residency with the Georgetown University service at DC General Hospital in Washington, DC. Before joining Alexandria Primary Care Associates, Dr. Kalra worked as an office-based internist and hospitalist with Kaiser Permanente in Northern Virginia. In addition to English, he speaks Hindi and Punjabi fluently.

Dr. Kalra, his wife, Seema, and their son, Neil Andrew, live in Falls Church, VA. They enjoy traveling and cheering for their son at his soccer and basketball games.
