Referral Request
Referral requests generally require 3 business days and will be authorized if you have previously been evaluated in our office for the condition. You may need to re-schedule your specialist appointment if you need the referral in less time. Referrals usually are valid for 90 days. Please defer your request to within 90 days of your appointment. We cannot back-date referrals to cover specialist visits prior to the request for referral.
If you need a Referral for TODAY, please call 703-370-9002.
If you need a referral for a future date, we will acknowledge receipt of your request, by email or phone, on the same business day if we receive your email before 3 pm.
Alexandria Primary Care will not use email to communicate confidential and/or health information to our patients unless a patient has sent us a message first through our website or this email.
